tom hyper black isnt black, its a dark grey chrome type of colour
look

Sam, when I meant ruling out black I meant the full on flat black solid colour which I've seen on LCR's and don't like.

That in the pic however is awesome, similar to the black chrome I was banging on about. My mates BMW M5 has had the wheels done in black chrome, I will post up a pic of the wheels if I still have it.

EDIT: Can I edit my poll to add another colour or is it too late?

This is the 'light black chrome' on my mates' M5.. Not sure about it on the LCR, but considering it as an option still.

Or I could go crazy and do something similar to my mates' GT3 RS, polished rim with blue spokes

I'm still very undecided!

Tom I saw a Plat LCR for sale the other day who has had the wheels done in a very bright silver. Looked clean but lacked a little something. Fry Over Black is my choice at the moment unless I persuade myself to go nuts with my other idea ;)

I know what you mean matey. Looks clean but lacking that 'modded' feel. I don't want it too sleeper tbh. Would like it to be something else.. I'm leaning towards Fry Over Black at the mo!

What's your other idea do tell?!

In other news guys, just bought the bigger Jetex FR cone filter off cupramillo on here, big thanks to him

Will fit it later and get the FC cone off.. That will be going up for sale.

I think that platinum LCR's look better with dark wheels. Its done to death because it works.
Its how they should have left the factory.

I like the FRY over black (never heard of that before), Hartys pics look great.

Pleasure mate! Nice meeting you and the car was looking tiptop! Great example and looked SO CLEAN!

Be sure to post some pics when you get the filter fitted!

t0m, i agree i don't like the full black look i had it on my BBS CH and got very tired of it quickly, then i had a matt finish, i hated this, it looked so flat and dull, Anthracite has been done to dead so i went with another color after seeing an Audi R8 up close, yep, Audi R8 daytona grey with gold leaf and a gloss finish. It looks dark/grey and when the light hits it its awesome.

Just something for you to consider.

Here some pics.

Fry over black mate ;) better than silver in my opinion. Hyper black also looks sweet.

Fry over black is edging silver for me currently... Need pictures of hyper black if someone will do the honors please

Hartys is making me consider fry over black very much ;)

ps pic of the GT3 RS, Cossy and LCR is p0rn, have semi on - too much info............

Lol, I live next door but 2 to that GT3 RS so I have a good look now and then, though it's in storage now at my neighbours detailing firm he works in conjunction with right by Brands Hatch..

I myself might have a job there soon :D

Nice to meet you too mate :)
Thanks for the kind words! As mentioned earlier, I've still got alot of work to do before the summer is in, then I can consider it near finished and concentrate on the detailing side [B)]

The new FR Jetex cone is ON! :D
I'll take a picture tomorrow. It feels different, not better or worse in performance, just different.. Hard to explain. But it's very Jetex'y in that is makes noise alright and sucks the air sounding like an amplified Darth Vader!! Sounded awesome on my drive home from my mates tonight..

Good luck with your viewing at the weekend ;)
Make sure you do a reader's ride on here if you get it.

Robbie... You just had to smash it didn't you ;)

That looks so awesome it's almost fake. Utter platinum grey p0rn for me right there

I might have to slightly 'steal and alter' your refurb design!!!! Do they do any other R8 grey's or just 'Daytona'?? I'm definitely looking into this. My wheels will be refurbed here:
http://www.diamondstyling.co.uk/index.php

As you can see they don't do powder coating if you check their 'what we do' page, and instead use wet paint for a superior finish. I'm yet to get a quote but I think it will cost more than your typical powder coat refurb!!

Your car looks the dogs Robbie. And is still probably my favourite LCR on the forum by some distance.
