Sounds good mate, I've just ordered a new MAF, N75 and som NGK spark plugs to go with the 2.0t coilpacks. I may get one of theose JR filters and dye it black  just something I'm considering.

Nice buys mate :)

Do you have the 2.0T adapters? Where did you get it all from?

I asked jetex about dying it mate they didn't recommend it when I called them, said it would ruin the filter.

Yeah I've got the adapters, bought them off robdon when he broke his car.

I wouldnt of thought dye would ruin the filter! cant the blue be washed out? wouldnt that indicate it was dye? may have to get in touch with them.

Cool mate just seen your pm will have a look now.

Jetex said it would wash out the oil from factory they use on it before it goes blue or something. Best to ring and check because I originally wanted red but now rather leave it lol.

Cheers for the info mate, I thought the jetex filters weren't oiled :think:I'll drop them a mail to see if they can just be re-oiled

No worries mate. I think they are from factory mate or before they are colour-dyed? Did you speak to them?

Quick update..

Got plenty going on this weekend.. Picking up parts and got some on the way.

Just added to that list and ordered a new set of 501 LED's. Wasn't too happy with the one's on there at the moment. They are 13 bulb LED 501's from Ultraled's and surprisingly one has gone very dim and the other a couple of LED bulbs have actually broken off.

I have had good dealings with them in the past so ordered another set on there today and am not letting the last set put me off just because of one bad batch..

I'm sure the new one's will be fine. They are 9 LED bulb 501's and I think these will do the trick. They're also brighter than the one's with 13 LED's. :)

Just a thought mate, I'm 99% sure you don't have to DROP the subframe to do the polly bushing. If you think about it the wishbones are attached to the subframe with bolts and are fairly easy to remove.... Just thinking about your front ARB

Bushes I don't think so mate but while it's up in the air, get the subframe dropped and a cheeky FARB slotted in there... wanting to do it all at the same time to get the desired effect!

oh ok fair enough, why not just take the engine out for a BT conversion and do it whilst the engine is out? :D

LOL... I can never be convinced matey :p

Car will be staying around the same power now during my ownership.. Just hooking up the rest of the car so she gets the power down very well (diff) and that will do me fine.

One day I'll change car and go BIG turbo ;)

Had a delivery or two today..

JR 8001 filter :) Won't be fitted for a month or so yet though..

Since 'liking' Opie Oils on facebook after the great service I got using them, they were giving away free stickers and air fresheners to any existing customers. So I asked for some FOC :)

Today didn't quite go to plan.. but still, progress is progress no matter how slow!

I got to Audi Bromley to be told my S3 strut brace hadn't been ordered as I had been told earlier in the week :censored: so I ranted and raved and at least got an £11 discount for my troubles. I also got told to move my LCR as I was blocking their car park to which I replied let me make sure my order goes through 1st and then I'll get on my way. Good old Audi... ...So anyway that will be in to them by Tuesday so I am told.

I went to Screwfix after in Orpington and picked up my M10 nuts, bolts and washers for the strut brace so at least got something today!

Original plan was to have a new MAF also which I was going to Tunbridge Wells for, but it would have been this evening and the snow has other ideas to any plans. So that is now being posted up to me.

Nothing else to report for today other than the car is now covered in snow!

Nice one on the new filter Tom. I thought you already had a JR filter though? Im hoping to get the bmc twin cone soon i think im losing out on the CDA ive got fitted. Pain about the strut bace quality customer service! I suppose it worked out getting a bit of a discount though hopefully it turns up this week for you.

Looks like everyone's plans got kyboshed today mate, between RDS, yourself and me!

Yes mate defo!!

Yeah I do mate, it is slightly creased/dented on one side as the last time I had it out, it was behind me on the drive and I trod on it slightly, lol. So I wanted a new one :)

I don't know much about the bmc twin cone's mate, what's the flow rate like on them? My car has loved the Jetex/JR for a year now so I'm sticking to it tbh. Makes good power with it on.

Audi customer service I really wasn't impressed with but hey ho, it's ordered now I even saw it go through on the screen with my own eyes! Will be with me by the end of the week, I'm just hoping for some slightly warmer weather sooner than later to get it fitted. Also got to sort my new MAF out and get that fitted, plus the new TIP same situation.. LOL.

Lots to keep me occupied for the time being!

Audi jokers haha, wait will be worth it, I put mine with the heads up, majority are thread up if you know what I mean - fiddly but looks better in my opinion.

We got our hands in but was tight, easier to drop the front dampers.
