Just wanted to drop a quick word in here how the car has felt today..... ABSOLUTELY RAPID And very vocal!!!!

I think the car has suddenly adapted more to the new tip and the Piper cat-back, the result is awesome. It's the fastest it has ever been today, really surprised me so I must get some logs done soon of g/s now she is fire breathing again lol.

I was cheesed off with this car only a month ago, it felt lumpy, rough and the boost wasn't right.

Since then I've replaced the MAF, the TIP, the Jetex cone, serviced the 007p, yellow spring was fitted in the 007 (couldn't believe I still had the green), I've also got back on the v-power despite having to travel quite far for it lol, and got a Piper cat-back fitted.

I'm so chuffed with how it has driven since I left AmD yesterday, the difference is night and day the boost is there early on, I can hear it spool up sooner it just wants to go and wants to rinse petrol.

Not been so determined to finish the rest of the car off now. Going to be an epic season ahead! I know exactly what mods I want in each area, it's just time and money now. But I really can't wait to drive it once it's all done

Yeah mine drove ok with the green one but it's better with the yellow mate. It's like a tenner from Forge and if your mapped I'd highly recommend doing it. Boost is held better and harder

If its just a tenner then it'd be rude not to. I need to service it anyways, had it on for 4 years now and never serviced it lol.

Tom, seeing as your the only one I know thats had the B5 tip as well as the SFS item, what do you think the differences are (if any) of the 2???

I'd say lower down it feels better, I have had so many niggly things in the last year the car has been in and out of 'form' if you could call it that. From what I can make out the difference is marginal but the change is done now.

Just very happy how she's running finally!

I noticed a big gain in low and mid range power with the SFS over the B5 v1, Top end is no worse.
The SFS is a fair bit cheaper aswell.

Sounds great Tom, exactly the love I got back for mine after the MAF & N75 died and I replaced them. Looking forward to seeing you and the car at AMD RR Day, what time are you heading down? I think I'll be down around midday.

Certainly am loving it again! Was sad to go to work today and not drive it till later, boo! It's been tedious to replace those things like the MAF and sort the DV out, but you get out what you put it and she feels savage now

Likewise looking forward to catching up mate, and seeing the BM

I'll be down there in the early morning but will be around most of the day so will see you at some point.
