Tapping noise from the engine of a Cupra?!

Hi all,
Sorry for late reply - internet dicked out at home last night!!
Well............... went to the car yesterday avo, and turns out its a very intimitent tapping noise. Only seems to come on now and again once the cars warmed up (tick over for an hour). As when he showed me yesterday, sounded sweet as a nut again so im happy its not Cam belt related. (but ment I couldnt get a sound recording!).
Its a bit under on oil pressure, and the caps quite dry. They think it may not of been serviced for a while so today they are cleaning out the sump, so hopefully thatll resolve the pressure issue and let the tappets get the oil they need.
Not sure of the oil they put in, but its a mates performance garage and I trust all the work they do - so woulda only put the "good stuff" in.
But if this doesnt solve it, I think ill bring it home, and ask you lot again such a wealth of knowledge on here as we all know!
But in the mean time, fingers crossed its solved today so the modding can begin and I can get it on the track!!
