I actually quite like it with the rectangular plate. I suppose driving a car with that style of plate for the past 8 months I am used to seeing it.

How and why? My dad has a square plate on the front also

they are not allowed on cars, the only exception is for imported car, (eg japan) where the body work only allows for square plates.

however, they are often on 4x4's so i guess its not enforced that well.

Is that right? My current car is a Hyundai Coupe and I have a square plate at the front and the car is a UK car not an import.

Looks good. Whats the interior retrim costs, must say its one of the more tasteful interior retrims ive seen of late, suits the car very well and isn't garish, as more often than not they tend to go completely over the top.
