TDI Cupra front pads!?????

i have spent countless hours searching other posts but still cant find an answer.

I have a 2006 56 plate ibiza cupra tdi 160BHP, it has the AP Racing calipers. I have been trying to find front brake pads for it for over a week and still cant find the correct ones. every motor factor and website i have been on keep showing the same type of pad, but it looks nothing like the ones on my car.

Please, does anyone know the pads i need? i dont mind which make but dont wanna spend too much on them (even tho i'd love a set of DS2500's).

Have you tried any local Seat Dealers for pads?? I'm interested in the answer too.

www.motorsportworld.co.uk has red stuff and yellow stuff pads on there which have AP in brackets next to them although iv heard mixed reviews about the quality of EBC

dunno if you can get Ferodo pads for the AP's...if so then that's the way forward

I'm running DS2500 in mine, you can get them from Badger5 or like i did fron circuit supplies http://www.circuitsupplies.com/ about £80 delivered if i remember

I would get OEM ones from David @ SERE Motors on here though.

Has anyone used OMP brake pads before, if so how are they rated?? are these the right pads anyway? Ebay No: 260398683953

IMO don't waste your time in uprated pads, the standard ones are more than good enough for road use.

I've posted this before but I bought mine from here (including front disks) and can not fault the products or the company.

About £35 inc VAT for the pads.

I'll be buying some more from them in about another 10k.

I think the ones you want are BPS2842. Ignore the 225 bhp comment. Ring up and check though but pretty sure that's what I ordered along with the discs.
