Tear drop wing mirror cover removal

Right ive had a look on the main site and the search but can only find how to totally remove the wing mirror, im only after taking the covers off of an FR with tear drops to get them sprayed to match the car rather than silver (on a mates car by the way). So do they just pull off or is there more too it?

They should just pull of scotty, its easier to pull glass out and get your fingers in from there to give it a bit more pressure.

Cheers, its a mate whos been asking but when he mentioned that the cover seems to go into the door (when there folded in you can see more plastic) so he didnt want to pull them as he thought that would catch?

To remove mine, i folded the mirror in, and then pulled the cover away starting from the exposed side, and it just 'clips' off.
