Think he meant bottom grills? If so the FR facelift has anthracite grills with large honeycomb where as the normal one has got black small honeycomb grills!

Personally think the 'normal' ones look better along the bottom with the pre-facelift FR on the side of the S badge. And cheaper win win

bumper turned up today so my garage looks like a body shop as it has a bonnet, garage and all the service parts

test fitted it tonight along with the bonnet (again) and realised that although they both fitted fine I have pushed back/bent/warped the lock so the bonnet is out of line need to get that sorted + i snapped the slam panel & have just been quoted 105quid for a new one...any ideas of were i can get another one??

bumper has turned up no grilles as yet though so need to buy them
new 'stubby' aerial - fitted

shall do a service at the weekend shall put pics up for that

update - went and saw my resprayer today and got a quote...£350 for the bumper & bonnet, not too bothered about that as i know it will be a spot on job, also had to buy a new slam panel (£85.15 from eBay)

so soon my car shall be all sorted

Will do, hoping it will look great - although my car has a standard 1 bulb set up is it still a simple set up and plug in even with 3 bulbs??

Well.....I think I'm keeping him in business

Bumper & Bonnet are being painted on the 18th and fitted on the 21st while the service is happening tomorrow (after work) and then the new bushes shall appear on thursday

Waiting for the golf interior light to turn up along with the LED main bulb and 2 LED sidelights....need to order the grilles too then once that's done the next part to turn up (when I have money) is alloys

Ah ha my new interior light turned up so fitted that just now but waiting for the better bulbs now looks great though....simple but worth while mod

Just read through the entire thread and enjoyed seeing what you have done with the car so far.

Now can I ask you a question?Looking to buy a 2003/4 1.2 ibiza as my first car and been getting quotes of around £3k online.I tried phoning some companies but they aren't any use.

Was just wondering is £3k around the sort of range you paid,obviously we arent same region but just trying to work out estimates at this stage.

Dont need to answer ofcourse
