Hi All,

Took a trip up to "The TT Shop" or TTS as it's also known, With other forum member Andy Lang and TT owner our friend Matt, I had a Revo Stage II map, Andy had a Fault diagnostic session, and Matt just spent some more hard earned cash on shiny bits!
Matt has used the place for years and on recommendation at what great work they do we took a 2hr drive up to Bedford to check the place out.
I already had pretty good feelings about the place as I spoke to Justin the sales manager and well what a top bloke instantly chatting on the phone like any other petrolhead bloke you'd meet somewhere!
On arriving this place looked sorted a fully packed parts showroom with all the best kit and a waiting room/ workshop viewing area where you had access to hot and cold drinks, tv, and use of the Internet, you could watch them work on your car, and when your as fussy as me that means a lot.
These guys know there stuff, the way they talk and explain things in simple terms, giving updates on the work they are doing as they do it, to them it's a passion and it's clearly visible, my stage 2 was awesomely mapped, Andy's car sussed and Matts sorted also, I left knowing I'd be back, these guys are a credit to the industry, and don't be fooled into thinking they just do TT's! Anything VAG! Check them out! You will not be disappointed and it's well worth the journey from Portsmouth for me!

deffo you can find me at most times at both of the local shell petrol stations round here very regularly! :D

Yer Kim, do your Diborchary offline :p

But yes, the TT Shop Is an amazing place, Jims words sum it up perfectly. I had my car Revo 2'd by a certain garage local to the portsmouth area VAG "specilist". and the readings were off the chart, and generally just ALL over the place. They spent a few hours sorting it and getting it set up just right, and yes, yes they have done it properly!!!

SO impressed by them, and certainly worth the 2 hr drive up, despite the rain and traffic jams! Never going anywhere else now, and they can order in any performance part etc you need :) like a kid in a candy store up there!

To hear that the certain "VAG Specialist in Portsmouth" had maxxed all the Revo Settings on stage 2 leaves me rather worried at the damage long term that could do, maybe they did it In the hope something broke and you would take it back and give them money????
TTS said tho that was really no reason to run the settings they did was just randomly done it seems! Who else's map done by this so called VAG specialist is done wrong I wonder!??

Lol they arent that far from us on the south coast! but WELL worth the drive!

Yup, my settings were cranked all right to the max, and boost was off the chart apparently. Defo not good for the standards K03s, but so pleased its sorted now, and feels SO much smoother! I may now not have the monsterous power figures I once had, but least my turbo or engine wont go PFFFT any time soon!

TTS is the place to go, even if I lived in Scotland or Ireland id still make the pilgramige!

Do do take a bumble over to check them out, I'm seriously fussy Andy will back that up, imagine it as your dream place, it really is that good proper nice knowledgeable guys that must arrive early to work every day, they love what they do!

Its down to 220 at the moment, but need to replace my N75 and post lambda. With that itll iron everything out and the power will creep up a little bit as it all settles down. Certainly more "normal" figures and explains my extreme power figures i had before.

Ok, so im down 30bhp - doest seem like it as the power is just there, straight away now - no lag at all despite my FMIC "being the size of the Isle of Whight" haha!! and the car feels so much better, its strange but also nice to know my turbo isnt about to go bang.

So all in all, im happy, cars happy and I cant wait til Trax :D

Big thank you to the TTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
