turbo was £220 lol, from a similar mileage car to mine with 2 owners from 2004, apparently its in solid knick with no play or leaks so worth a punt and even if there is at that price, I can get it refurbed for about £300 or hybridized for £500 :D

Fitting is around £120-£150. I will get a fmic but IM banking on needing a clutch first.

Bloody hell that's a good find Phil :thumbup:

Yea your not upping the torque by a lot but the extra 20+ bhp will be nice :). Yea as you say you'll probably find the turbo will spool up quicker - I bet your well excited!

Then only FMIC & Clutch = Stage 2 Animal. Can't wait to see this in the 'flesh'!

well i dont want anymore torque really, on the stage 1 it was producing (apprently) 303ft/lb so i will ask if its posible to limit this and put more on the top end instead.

Stage 2 is where I'm heading and then calling it a day, having said that i did go out in a mates VRS furby with an LSD, and I now want a diff, its an awesome bit of kit lol

you up MK way around the end of march/start of April?

Intake temps will be real high running 200bhp on an smic mate! I guess Al will have it under control though when it's being mapped!

was a little bugger to fit as SEAT provided bolts twice the size of the hole so they didnt fit, so i used self tappers of the same size and it took 5 mins to do 8)

a little update whilst i count down the days till the end of the month:

to aid my main wheels getting refurbed i went and purchased some spares. I chose the Original 16" cupra wheels as they are something different on the MK4 Ibiza, also the clear the 312mm brakes i have fitted and are cheap :D

so picked them up:

Washed them:

and did a trial fit:

When fitting them i decided that i will try and do a self refurbishment on them. So today i begun.

chose the worst of the wheels:

got together the bare essential for the first prep stage:

* File
* 70 grit sand paper
* masking tape
*brillo pads
*hot water
*Microfiber cloths to dry.

after around 1.5hrs i had flattened the the major damage so that it is now smooth and given the wheels the following treatment:

I used the brillo pads to go over the wheels and remove the majority of the engrained dirt that was on the wheel. People will think im mad but the soap on the brillo is fairly mild and since im refurbishing the wheels anyway, using the wire wool and slightly marking the surface isnt too much of a hardship if it clears all the crap off the wheel.

next steps will now be:
* wash all over once again with the brillo's to ensure they are spotless before the next stage
* dry with the microfibers
* mask off the tyres
* use wheel filler/putty to repair any damage/curbing to the wheel
* allow to set for around 24hrs to ensure its hard
* sand down with fine/very fine sandpaper to ensure a smooth even finish across the whole wheel
* wash all over and dry once again to ensure that they are as clean as they can be.
* apply primer to the wheel in even layers and to apply around 2-3 coats
* sand down with v. fine paper if required to ensure the finish is smooth
* apply the paint, again in even layers and with about 2-3 coats waiting around 15mins between coats.
* once complete apply the laquer

well thats the plan anyway lol

i have added a few plans to what I'm hoping to add to the car by the end of the next couple of months:

*VW MFD 1 sat nav unit (Version B) as fitted to the Fabia's, Toledo's and Leon MK1's
* Possible a MK1 Leon Cupra R steering wheel. This is due to them being unbranded and looking smart and if the MFD unit doesn't support the wheel controls on my current wheel, I would rather not have them lol
*lupus alloys will be refurbished professionally
*New front brake discs as mine are forming a lip atm. Probably go with something drilled and grooved, or Brembo max's

Only clues your going to get is that's it's Not VAG, it is diesel and it's a Leon rival, guesses welcome and if you guess right I'll post up the pics lol

Well i'll put some of you out of your misery, the car im awaiting a decision on the finance on is this one:

http://www.marshallweb.co.uk/volvo/vehiclespec.asp?ID=685614&term=0&mileage=0&deposit=&

it will be tuned by the dealer, and is covered by the warrenty :D it will then have 205bhp and 330ft/lb on tap...... hmmm lovely and it looks lush :D

here's hoping :whistle:

If it does go through that means I will be stripping the car back to standard so if anybody fancies any parts or swops on things i cant take off (like the interior or 312mm brake setup) let me know via PM
