Hi All
I have noticed a small pool of coolant under my Leon cupra 300, when I bought the car in February the chap selling the car told me the thermostat housing had been replaced by a local (non Seat) garage.
I suspect that it was replaced with a cheap replacement part as its only lasted 3 months! I will get it replaced using a genuine oe part, but can anyone on the group recommend a better than oe part if there is such a thing as I know that even the oe parts are known to be problematic:\
Many thanks in advance

Yes it's definitely original. At this price it's not worth buying it locally.

I bought it for my Cupra and my friend for his Octavia RS, zero issues.

Hi Deano
Cheers, I'm going to get it. Got the garage to check it tomorrow morning, I'm pretty sure that's what the coolant is coming from:(

Hi All
Well, a trip to the local garage found that it's the radiator that's leaking, in the bottom right corner!
Cheaper than a Waterpump and thermostat housing I guess!!

Well, it's good to see that Seat made replacing a radiator an easy job!!!?
