i went to this company called shadows in reading, he had a look, looked in a book and a good discussion and recommended the 215 as max width. (7j rims)
we have a company BMW at work, it has 225 width tyres and is absolutely gorgeous to drive. so id like wide tyres, based on that really
if they rub i can get em changed![]()
when they go on i'll do some opposite lock testing and see how they go!

would 205 rather than 215 be cheaper?

edit edit: any reason you prefer the 205 apart from the possible rubbing?
I'd find some cheaper wheel and tyre deals than that to be honest with you mate, my old RS4's with tyres were only £550
