Well, I finally got round to doing a TB clean, don't think it's ever been done, well not in the 60,000 miles i've had the car:shrug: Anyways, before hand the car had a bit of hesitancy on pick-up and a flat spot round the 2-2500 rpm mark, now the car is right there when you plant your foot and it appears the flat spot has gone. Here's cpl of pics of the gunged up TB,before and after. For the sake of a tenner it's a must do:funk:

Anyone got the part number for the new gasket?

Do you just clean it with carb cleaner or is there anything else that can be used?
