:shrug:Can someone please help! I started my car a couple of days ago and it just suddenly turned straight off , i tryed again and just turned off again. So i kept my foot on the accelerator and i turnd the car on and it was reving fine untill i took my foot straight off the accelerator..... after i tryed one more time i tryed keeping the revs up for a couple of mins then i eft my foot go and it stayed on but was reving only at 500 , i usualy have it at 900 when sitting. So i got it hooked up yesterday to find the fault and it came back saying the TROTTLE CONTROL VALVE was faulty, i phoned seat up and got a price off £500 to replace i couldnt belive it , so i checked ebay and found a trottle body for £81 , but what im not sure in is that does the trottle body accualy come with the trottle controle valve inside it?

if anyone could plz help i would be greatfull

I had a problem with the throttle control valve. Came up on the vag com with the throttle control valve and the coolant temperature sensor as faults. Turned out that when I replaced the coolant temperature sensor it also solved the other problem and everything was perfect! Electrical interference for you!
