TIP effect on DV noise?

Hi all

Just out of interest, if i got a Forge TIP, would my DV be louder or is it just merely a more rigid alternative to the OEM TIP?

No just more rigid TBH. Filter & DV, which I see you already have, would make a diff.

Forge's cold side relocation kit is ment to make it a bit louder.

i cant deside wat to do with regards a dv i fitted a pipercross and it made it louder but would an upgraded dv change that much?

I didn't find the TIP made any real noise difference but i didn't buy it for that anyway
As for the coldside relocation kit no change to volume really but a change to note as air goes via redirected route

i heard more boost noise with tip,as it allows more flow to the turbo due to being less restrictive and wider.

main point is to stop collapse when running higher than oem boost.

great little mod for the cash.

A open cone filter realy helps with the noise too.
