to FMIC or not to FMIC

Rob, how east did you find installing the Forge kit to your car? Is any drilling necessary or modification? By the look of the pictures on the Forge website, it would appear that the kit utilises the OEM pipes that feed from the 2 Side Mount Intercoolers?

If you DO get a stone or small object pierce a FMIC, its not the end of the world anyway.
I work on compressors, and we use a company in Rugeley (called GDM i think!) that repairs cracked/split/punctured coolers that run at 100 deg plus, and at 10BAR or so.
If the FMIC is better quality to start with, theres less chance it will fail, and more chance it will be repairable.
