yeah could have been very serious or fatal :headhurt:

inside sidewall of the drivers reartyre had blebed about halfway round the rim causing a wild vibration that shook loose the 4 stubaxle bolts from the axle itsself ....................

fixed now and doctored the rear arches too :D no more catchy catchy

Hi mate, sorry to hear about your Tolly, just got one myself, Mk1 2.0 16V GTi in navy blue, and as a fan of sleepers your escapades have given me something to think about :)

Did you ever get the car dyno'ed before it went belly up? Also, how much did you throw at it? I'm weighing up whether to do something to my Mk1 or just sell it and get something like a Mitsi Galant VR-4 (which is my dream car, but at this point, the Mk1 Tolly is a very close second, its such a fun drive!)

all in all it probs cost me 5k but i did so many things that really did nt need doing ie all the powder coating, still that does include the cost of the 2.9 vr6 and various sets of wheels etc..............it really depends on how far you want to go

This car has been stripped & scrapped now :(

on hte bright side all the goodies are been transfered into a late n reg corrado &big power to come
