Brakes are now on.

I started out with a box of bits like this:

And with a bit of paint and some nice CRN disks ended up like this:

Have had these on for just over a week now, and they are pretty damn good.


Also, i had the car RR'd yesterday.

After having the stage one map, and nothing more, it RR'd at 166bhp and 284ft/lbs.

The results produced yesterday, with the Revo stg1 map, FMIC, mufflerectomy and helix clutch were 157.1WHP and 293ft/lbs.

The 157.1whp translates to 180bhp at the flywheel, going by a 15% loss through the transmission.

looking good tom... you notice a difference in stopping power or have you not had chance through bedding them in, any problems catching weights on the wheels or anything like that with it being a tight fit...

i pressume your happy with the power it produced, which rollers was it??

are you still going ahead with the crazy alloy wheel colour?

Stef. Im not sure on the wheel colour yet. One plan may be to have two sets of wheels, one for the road that are just plain silver, then a second in an extremely bright colour for track.
Brakes work really well, although ABS kicks in a lot more now. No issues with balance weights.

Ash. Yep should have a very BIG update coming May/June, all being well.

Mike. Found them in the for sale section on here. Paid £90 for carriers, calipers, hoses and pads, then the disks were £80 from crnproducts.com.

You lucky *******! That is cheap compared to what they go for on ebay etc. Good times...
