Just had an email from vagproducts confirming that it won't work on my 06 Ibiza, they are going to organise a refund (I haven't received it yet so didn't get a chance to try it).

What did you put in your email? i sent an email asking for a refund and all i get back is "what list of cars does it give on our website?"

how did you organise a refund?

any one else try to get their money back?

any success?

possibly well I say it didnt work. It added the button features but not the auto close.

that sounds like it works to me, as it all uploaded ok

I just dropped them a note asking if it would work on my model and if not how do I get a refund, they came back asking for my address etc so they could organise the refund, this was only yesterday so I haven't actually received anything yet, so watch this space.

I'm not sure mine had actually been sent by the time I asked for the refund so this may explain why they have been more accomodating.

KVW100 was designed as an OEM+ product specifically for Volkswagens and derivative cars, including: New Beetle, 1998+ Passat, 1999.5+, MK4 Jetta / Bora, and Golf . Adding the functionality to the existing window control module

yours fits this criteria IMO the ibiza is a vw derivative car

Sent a reminder this morning and I got my refund through shortly after but as I've said previously mine was never sent.

hmm, so from the info so far, this *should* work on my '05 plate Ibiza?

I asked my dealer about it today, and they weren't sure, but offered to have a browse with VAGCOM at my sext service, and if they see the option, they'll turn it on for free! I assume it is a VAGCOM option, and that dongle just does its own interfacing?

you assume wrong, this can NOT be activated by vag com

it can be done with VDS_PRO so i am told but i have never managed to get it to work, tried it

Just to update you lot, got my KVW100 yesterday and fitted it last night, works an absolute treat on my 53 plate 130 sport
