So not only did it allow you to get out of the corners quicker, it also allowed you to get into them quicker too?
Were you really pushing it?
Do you feel it kicking in or is it just that you have more traction without noticing the diff doing its bit?

I was on track so yeah flat out

Sometimes you can feel it come in if its a very tight corner otherwise its more traction

After a few laps of Oulton on the 6th Feb cant wait to get her back out on track at the BHP show at Lydden Hill in May as thats another track I have done before the diff so will be good to compare before and after

Just a small update

After having the car out at Lydden and seeing in the photos how much the car rolled I have been thinking about ARB's and as Awesome GTI have been kind enough to do a GB they are now on order and will be on in time for the next trackday which looks to be at Brands Hatch

Cool, I'd like to get on track again this year, and I do like Brands. Getting time off work is the biggest problem for me. Only way I could do it easily is if it were on a Sunday or Thursday. Keep me posted though, I might be able to change days off with someone.

Small update

ARB's fitted last week thanks to Ben at TMC my god the back one looks HUGE not noticed much as yet but have not pushed it will be taking it for a drive on my own Saturday so should get a fill for it then

But it will be Snetterton in November when I will see how they have changed the handling

Snetterton report

After the Snetterton trackday yesterday mixed review of the rear ARB it did seam to help in the corrners but the way I drive it did feel a bit loose in some corrners

Not sure of the name but the 3rd corrner left just after the bridge went in a bit hot think we went on 3 wheels and as we landed got a tank slapper thought I had cought it but it then span 180 the other way and off we went backwards

1st time I have EVER been off think I found the limit of the tyres lol

Lol!

That's one of traits when it comes to a stiffer rear arb, you should be able to soften the bar if it's a nuespeed bar if it isn't on it's softest setting already.

I found the same with mine when I had just the rear ARB on, it feels better now the front one is on though.

Maybe it was more the tyre? Maybe you were going at the corners a lot harder so reached the grip limit a lot earlier than you thought?
