hi, i am fairly new to the leon and have a standard 2001 cupra and am looking to go the revo stage 2 tuning route, so i have a few questions i hope you will be able to help me with.

1- on the revo site it says you need an exhaust system, air filter, fuel pressure regulator and i have heard you also need a better dump valve, is anything else needed and could you give your opinion as to which parts are the best to use please.

2- i will also be getting a suspension kit and changing the discs and pads so if you could give me an idea of which are best to use.

3- does the extra power have any effect on overall reliability if servicing is kept up?

4- does anyone know of a good garage in the east mids who will fit all of the above and install the software?

5- and lastly who is good for insurance with mods as i also have 6 points on my licence.

many thanks for any help you can give.

cheers
neill.

no expert on revo im afraid... but we have the same motor.

most of the questions should be answered by using the search button above.

theres a couple of excellent custom tuners near you. i think you can get revo through lots of garages... check with there website.

my first set of mods were a forge 007 dv, dynatwist induction both from badger 5 on here and then blueflame sports cat and miltek cat back. jabba custom remap and i got 242bhp dyno lottery pending.

use the search button mate theres loads of knowledge on here

Other than the mods you list, the only other things that's of great benefit - but not 100% essential - is a Front Mounted Intercooler (FMIC). And with the full exhaust system, bear in mind this includes downpipe and sports cat.

As for the rest of your questions, as traumapat quite rightly says, they have all been answered already many times in other posts, so have a search. Search this Mk1 Leon forum and check out the Insurance forum to find recommendations on that front.
