Im now having truble with the rubber hose that comes from the turbo air outlet pipe to the charge pipe that runs over the engine, it keeps blowing off and the car dose some funny things when this happens.
Iv just driven 30 miles and it came off 3 times, iv (well bill did) changed the clamp for jubily clips still no better.

So my quetion is what is the inner diamiter? and the length?
As i am going to order some samco/forge hose insted as it is stiffer and dosnt go soft when warm.
Thanks

Don't know the size, sorry, but I think "normal" samco wouldn't reqally be up to the job - AFAIK you should at least use a nomex one on the turbo outlet (higher temps).

I'm sure if you speak to one of the hose suppliers they'll happliy advise...

yes its a 2" pipe you need.
just check that the ally pipe which goes over the engine is 2" too, that way you wont need a reducer
i had a am motorsport kit on my ibiza, and that used a 2" (in the turbo outlet) to 2.5" (intercooler pipework) samco reducer which after a good few miles and lots of heat cycles started to degrade and did pop off a few times. the outlet of the ko3s with the silencer isnt a great shape, it is vounerable to popping off. get the right hose, and make sure its sitting right (sitting striaght and make sure its clean ie no oil residue) with a good jubuliee clip to hold it then you should be fine. you may find after say 2yrs or something, that you may need to replace it, but they are cheap so its no major worry :)

i guess it depends which FMIC you fit.

if you are still using alot of the stock pipework then it will be one of the few that is left untouched yes

iv just got back from forge, i have fitted one and it all seems good, but time will tell, the pipe is a reducer and part number is S54-48 just trim abit off each end, this is the best fitting pipe i could find, its sits snug on both parts.

good lad.

Bill, i cant be sure but i would say that from memory, a melkor would be a tight squeeze due to the dimensions of the outlet pipe. Good idea, if it fits :)

I think it might fit in there... worth a go if it still pops off on him after its replaced with silicon.
