What size hoe clips do i need for the Ruber pipe that goes from the turbo to the charge pipe. One end is bigger than the other. Just, have possibly blown a pipe off tonight, or split one, but i won't know until i can get a good look after work tomorow as it was dark when i did it, and the engine was too hot to go poking about. If it turns out that it's that one thats knackered, i'll order a forge one, but as i hate normal jubilee clips, i'll probably be after some of the heavy duty type ones off ebay, and just wanted to know what sizes i'd need for that pipe.
Cheers,
The other Moff.

If you are talking about the high temp elbow they have jubilees on anyway.
It took about 6 weeks to get mine from forge, must make in small batches or something.
Jubilees should have there size printed on.
I would get new pipe and fit with existing clips and note sizes, then change at your leisure, it only takes 5 minutes.

Cheers. That's just depending on if it's the Elbow that's split or not. If i do come round to having to order one, i'll do it by phone so i know if there's a wait for them or not.
Once the engine is cooled down, and the engine cover is off, is the elbow okay to get at, at both ends? just for checking it tomorrow.

Easy enough to get at the top of the elbow, think you may need to get under the car to get at the bottom of it though. I hope not because I'm fitting a new elbow over easter and would rather do it at home than have to take it round to my Dad's to use his ramps.

Got it sorted 10 mins ago. Had a quick look before i had my bait. Took the engine cover off, and the bigger of the two pipes that come out the charge pipe, towards the front, had come off. Luckily, the jubilee clip was still lying on top of the engine, so i put it straight back on. That was easier than i was thinking it was going to be.

I've got a split in mine and ordered a new one from Forge.

You can get to it from the top of the car, quite easy to change. Noticed my charge pipe has a dent in it (near the cambelt cover), is it shaped like this for a reason or has somebody hit mine taking it off at some point?

Are you sure its possible to get at the turbo end of the hose? I was fiddling around with my charge pipe last weekend and it was pretty tricky just to undo the top end of the elbow.

I took the hose off last night to check it as it had split internally.

Managed to get to it by sticking my hand down the back of the engine near the exhaust manifold. Took the charge pipe off first so I could get in a bit easier.

Accessible from th top of the engine, just a bi more tricky if you have a strut brace.
I knelt no the front slam panel so i could reach down in

You should be able to get to it from the top, It's no harder to get to than the TIP, Strutt brace does make it a bit harder to get to.

The hose clips should be about 75mm........ I think.
