Well I've sold my 007p and ordered one of these... I'm hoping it will be alot louder as even with a CAI the 007p isn't that noticeable. But then again it is a recirc.
isnt it like the split R in essence?some is dumped into atmosphere and rest is recirculated?
Yup probably more atmos dumping than the split-r too but I didn't realise it would effect performance. I know it won't bring up an ECU light though
No it doesn't affect performance, it's not a full atmospheric BOV, it works sequentially, dumps back to the intake at lower revs and blowing off in both directions at higher revs.

fitted the turbosmart last night sound brilliant and loud to. but if your just cruising its not loud. perfect!!
not sure if its throwning up any faults so if any1 in my area as vag com let me know.

yeah im guna try n get one on tonight if i can figger how to do it.
it fits the opposit way to other valves tho. you get a disc with instructions on and the valve is the oposit way round to the forge 007.
you can twist the top harder and softer for the spring compression. really easy to set up too only 6/8 full turns (cant remember 100%) and it tells you if it doesnt idle properly then turn it softer half a turn then it should be fine. you get a blanking cap for full recirc. 2 jubliee clips, a vacum extender pipe and a reducer and a sticker
no lights on
performance wise its hard to say if its better or not mine seems to lag slighty but i think thats just how my map is. soon as it hits 3 all hell brakes loose. lol

it does actually sound like the mazda 3 on the vid after earleir comments before i got the valve i wasnt sure what it would sound like but its a really high pitch tssh.
u either love the sound or you dont. like that marmite shite lol
I'll have to look those vids up from my home PC. I do like a high pitch ptshhh, I can't shake that after being on the Jap Scene for a little while. Mind you, I should wait until I have a map before I decide if I like the noise of the 007 under high boost.

stage 2 remap from ********* had it a while ago.
when i had a RR'd they said i should really get the fmic as im losing bhp through hot air as its standard intercoolers.

turbo smart is dam loud,once the valve has settled in it will need ajusting by turning the top to right tension... mark my words once the spring has bed in,you will have limp home mode on, but once u get the hang of it,all will be fine....
