you can but a silencer connector to go on the back of your boost gauge that stops that.

Yeah, my autogauge came with a t piece with a little brass reducer inside one of the tees that goes to the gauge. Mine doesnt make a sound

Excellent. will order one asap. Where is best place to put it? Replace it with the Tpiece I put into the vac hose off the FPR or splice it in as close to the gauge as poss?

Back on topic: Loving the sound of this DV. Need to find a long tunnel though or someone to record the sound from outside the car.

Mine's been on for 2 days now...no issues at all. Some people have had these on for years with no probs. I wish I knew about it sooner.

had mine about 2 month all good. hard to say if its made a difference to performance wise but sounds propa boo i tell thee!

Does the forge 007 become louder when remapped? If so is it much?

Yeah it's noticably louder, even more so when you take off the bonnet lining. But it's still nothing in your face i'm afraid as it's still only a full recirc valve at the end of it all.

Not to fussed if it's not crazy loud, would just like it to be heard by others, afterall it's a sound sensation lol

The actual lining from the underside of the bonnet or the engine cover?

I hear it louder with my dynatwist induction kit but its mainly inside the car or when going through tunnels lol

The lining under the bonnet. You'll hear it outside but don't expect to turn heads meters away, it's no Subaru.

my dv valve flutters under low revs before hitting boost every time i change but dumps loud like its suppose to when it hits boost ?
is this normal or is the valve too tight ?

That sounds normal They do "flutter" under low revs and make a loud Psssssh under high boost, simply due to the release of the pressure I think.

mines not a turbosmart but did you have any issues with the revs dropping and the car wanting to stall.
i dont know whether 2 tighten or soften it seems to be idling around 700-800 reve at the mo

800rpm is normal when the engine is warm

Didn't have any issues like that even with the valve fully opened
