My Wife was driving the car tonight when she came across a stretch of road that had been planed of ready to resurface. Somewhere along here she hit a pothole or a raised manhole and the tyre now has a big split in the sidewall, the tyre was only 2 months old ![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
I'm going to ring the council tomorrow, but is there anything I need to know beforehand?. I have heard that they'll only do anything if potholes etc.have been previously reported, but is this the same for ongoing roadworks?
I've been back to look at the road and there is a few possible places where it happened, also there are signs up including one that says "raised manholes"
