Just seeking some feedback from any owners who have 225/45/R19, 235/40/R19 or 245/40/R19 fitted. I currently have 4 Michelin Crossclimate 2's fitted (245/40/19). This was not intentional. I'd actually ordered 235/40/19 originally but these are what was delivered on the day. As they fitted ok I just went with it. However I'm planning to change all four this summer to Pirelli SF3 all season. I'm debating between 235/40/19 and 225/45/19. I had some pothole damage on this current set so debating going to the larger wall size with the 225 variant. The current CC2's provide great rim protection and I suspect the 225 won't be as good in that department but will conversely offer better fuel economy and ride. I guess I can add some rim protectors to counter the smaller profile.
Just wondered what other people's experience was?
thanks.
