I can honestly say I'm done, the car deserves a better home now as I don't have the time to actually treat her well with Camilla being born and she hasn't been in the LCR once in 8 months!

I will be prepping the old girl once again for sale (didn't actually push to sell last time and probably didn't want to)

Hardly use the car and if I wanted a car to 'keep' something it would be out of B5 S4, E36 M3, MKII GTI or original Mini. So I've decided to find something like that to just be kept.

Lets see how it goes this time round!

I completely understand your thoughts about having something to keep. My LCR is a 'keep me for when you've got time to have a tinker' car. It has sat for 5 weeks and I'm not sure its the best thing for it. Work is very busy and I'm away a lot, our son is now 13 weeks old and I love being a Dad, and our new family car (VW Passat CC) is a very comfortable drive. There's just not the time...

So, best of luck with the sale; the new owner will have a very nice LCR to enjoy. Enjoy finding a project and keep us updated; my next project would (probably will) be a 23 window VW Camper Van;) Hope the family are well :)

Cheers James - Yeah all good, hope you all are too!!!

Cars for sale thread waiting to be approved - going on @ £4500 - I think thats pretty reasonable.

E36 M3 insurance is stupid so thats out the window (i am 32 aswell!!), I have seen a lovely example of the B5 S4 up for sale.

Wow that was quick! Sad times mate but good to move on if you're not in the right frame of mind to owning it anymore. Only delaying the inevitable!

Has it gone to someone on here?

I went in a mate from works b5 s4.... It's unreal quick! He's got loba 530's on it with 3" milltek zorst, to name a few.... not cheap stuff! He reckons its about 500 horses! I've been in a few quickish cars too, (my brother is a Aston Martin tech) but this would eat them all! Get one :)

Camilla approves of my new run about.

Gone for a unpopular choice for many but one I'm more than happy with and with spare cash from the LCR

53 V6 Quattro DSG TT - 76k, Full history, Bose, Nav, Xenons, Nappa leather.

After a VAGCOM scan brought no faults up needed to be done
