really **** tyre for the Ibiza!
And what is your recommendation,
bear in mind I'm 43 not rolling in money like some young pube
px4's get my vote even though i haven't got em on yeti've done nearly 11k in my p-zero's and they're not worth the money spent to be honest
ive been running bf goodrich gforce profilers 205/45 r16 on my fr. pretty good but hard to get hold of. excellent in the wet which is why i got them. going to try vreidestein next
How are you able to recommend something which you haven't tried? I have to say that when new they were great in the torrential rain down to Spain and some "spirited" driving in Germany, but they've gone a bit crap since then and tend not to grip so well.
Seen these mentioned a few times on here, may follow suit![]()
just over £100 a tyre ?
I had P Zero Nero's on the car from new and the wear on the front's was terrible, I don't think I managed 20k from the two sets I had on the front, the first set were shot after 8-9k. Since then I've had Yokohama Parada Spec-2's on the front, and as said before they are good in the dry but fairly lethal in the wet, and now I have some Toyo Proxes T1-R's on the front which seem to perform pretty well in the wet and dry and are lasting quite well so far, of the tyres I have had I would buy the Proxes again over the others.
Yeah, on my cupra I got 9k on the front with P Zero Nero's and 7k with some crapy brand tire I had to get, because it was all the garage had in stock and the P Zero Nero's were starting to show wire in a couple of places on the inside of the tires.
I got my alignment checked after that (at another garage) and they said it was 'slightly' out but not enough to cause them to wear so much on the inside.
