What tyres do you run on your car? any personal opinions which ones are the best?

I run Yokohama Parada Spec 2 on the front. Great in the dry but not so great when it's wet or damp! Given we have more wet weather than dry in this country I won't be getting them again when they need replacing!

I'm running Uniroyal Rainsports at the mo. Pretty good wet or dry and getting around 18K from the fronts ( 205/45-16 )

Good all round tyres for most cars are Toyo T1-R, Continental Sports Contacts & Uniroyal Rainsports. The latter two are effectively the same compound with different wet/dry weather bias. That said there's a dark horse of Marangoni Zeta Linea, they have a slightly weird tread pattern but I've found them to be very good if you can get the tyre pressures right. If you're going for low profile tyres the MZL's have got very stiff side walls to help protect your rim from potholes.

im runnin bridgestone turanzas on bout my alloys an standard wheels,great grip in both wet and dry,last a good while too

I've got Avon ZZ3's at mo and they're great. Really good grip in wet and dry. I think they're quite a soft compound, which helps grip but probably won't last beyond 12k miles on the front

I'm running Toyo Proxes T1-R on the front and as said before they are pretty good all round wet and dry performers and seem to be lasting quite well too. On the rear I have Yokohama Parada Spec 2's which again as said before are very good in the dry (very grippy) but in the wet are absolute cack and to be honest quite dangerous imo.

Running Yokohama A520. Very good in the dry thanks to its almost semi slick patterns and soft compound. But as they are now part worn with more treads worn off its a bit slippy in the wet now. Now here's the rub (pun intended) shocking road noise!

I'm eyeing on some Toyo T1R or Conti Sport Contacts or similar pricemark.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3's here, very good tyre wet or dry, and have lasted well. Easy 12k out of them so far and have only recently swapped front to back, so I'm expecting another 8k minimum.

One of the grippiest tyres in wet and dry but only last about 8000 miles.

Kumho Ecsta, cant remember the exact model number but their cheap for a good quality tyre. im on my second set. excellent in the dry and pretty good in the rain too from my experience and have been getting almost 15000 miles on the fronts ( even more out of the backs) driving on winding a roads in north wales.

Really wouldn't go past Avon ZZ3 tyres fitted to my Cupra 1.8t. Excellent in dry and wet with very little understeer even under boost on a wet roundabout !!!
