right here's another one.....probably already been answered, apologies if so!
righto, 58 plate FR tdi, dpf removed remapped etc, good history, and injectors replaced earlier this year, and got a belter of a deal (i used to work with the sales manager) all the toys (except reverse sensors. not that i really need them, just seems weird that its got everything else) including the ipod dock under the driver's seat.
i'm not an apple fanboy, never have been. got nothing against them, just prefer android. ive got the new htc one, and managed to find a lead online that goes from micro usb to female apple plug. plugged it in, nothing. which i found weird, surely the car will just read it as a mass storage device and look for music???
apparently not.
so, dug out the handbrake's (she'll kill me if she reads this) ipod nano, just to see if it would work. it hadn't been used for a good while, as she got an iphone 4, then recently upgraded to a galaxy s4, so was totally dead. the manual says that it should charge as soon as it's plugged in, but nothing. so, do i need to charge it first before use? or does the dock not support charging? saw another thread on here, and the dude said he had to use an adaptor. it doesn't mention this anywhere in the manuals, read them all cover to cover last night.
any help would be appreciated..........
