Did you get this to work?
I have just bought a second hand 4th Gen nano, but all i can get is No CDC.
Doing my head in.

These used to fail quite regularly so its possible that the dock itself is non-functional. Try another iPod perhaps but otherwise it sounds as though you'll need a new dock

Sadly it seems my finance has give. The iPod chargers away so cant charge it lol.
