getting butterflies yet? i would be.

have you been down to see the car since it was first delivered to see how its coming on? i dont think i could be so patient as yourself knowing it had been at the dealers this long and not being able to have it!

anyway, not long now, i'm sure it'll be worth the wait and then some.

Dealer phoned today to say it will be ready for me to collect on Wednesday.

The extremely odd thing is, when I got home from work today the Logbook was on the mat waiting for me. So I have the Logbook to a car I don't actually have. Seems Bizarre to me.

Chris.

I haven't been back over to see the car since the first Saturday they had it. It's in there compound or has been, of which the public have no access. Plus it's about 40min drive away, and that Corsa they have lent me is a thirsty beast lol.

Not long now then. MAYBE. I don't put anything past this bunch.

My top 3 impressions were;

1) Fek the brakes are awesome!!!
2) The steering is wheel is spot on and chunky
3) It feels a more all round solid car than the MK1, but a tad dare a say civilised nothing a remap and few mods wont sort i am sure great colour in the flesh looks wet all the time and thats before wax!!! [B)]

Cheers mate. I am certainly enjoying it so far. Been too busy driving it and getting used to it to get any pic's of it. It really was worth the wait.

It's a little dirty now though. Going to have a ride up to the accessory shop and buy some new cleaning goodies, this has become regulation for me now lol.

I will get some more when I can, unfortunately I have managed to loose one of my jacking point covers from the side skirt on the drivers side. So not very happy.

Otherwise, I'm loving this car. So pleased with my choice.

:coolthumb you must be on :cloud9:

appetite well and truely whetted!!

i've been waiting nearly eight weeks now so must be over half way (i hope).

i havent bought/booked parking sensors yet but am seriously thinking of it. £250 spent now may be cheap in the long run if the worst were to happen.

have a nice weekend mate, and remember, a cars for driving, not for washing (too often anyway!!)

Cheers mate, yep, definately on cloud 9, loving it.

Hopefully yours won't drag out too long for you.
