Right firstly my original explanation and problem can be seen here in this thread, along with a video of what the car is doing aswell.

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=152070

Right, today ive been over to see SuperCupra who firstly looked on vagcom and only fault found was car running rich intermitent, which he thinks is something to do with the 4.0bar FPR as he had the same prob and he is also stage 2 revo.

Anyway, next we turned boost down to HB7 T7, went for a drive and everything on VAG COM looked perfect, running 200+ G/s on MAF, CF at 0.0 or slightly fluctuating too 2.0 now and again, but still the problem was there but nothing showing up on the logs etc.

Myself and a few others seem to think that it could be due to spark plugs?, plugs havent been changed for 11k i just found out, and im running 210 bhp on standard plugs. Could that be causing the problem under full load?shown and heard in the vid is the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4O5m1sYwOc,

Which plugs can i purchase from halfords that will fit my car and the spec, they dont sell the BK7RE NGK's, are there any other's i could get from there other than ones for stock power?

ALso could it be coil pack, cause that wouldnt show up on vag com either would it ?

Thanks for your time.

Rob.

200g/s isnt running perfect thats over reading which in turn could be causing you to overfuel.

I just read that your running a k03 so infact thats way off the mark. Most k03`s pull about 160g/s.

the test where it was showing pulling 200g/s is enough -

disconnecting the maf i believe gives a default(safe) value of air passing through and gives enough fuel to match it - not sure if it will give you the complete boost but should sort out the boosting issues you have -

when my maf went, it was reading to high and kept throwing car in to limp mode -

disconnected it and boost perfectly and normally - although you will have to clear the enginer light afterwards

Nope it will log the fault tho as being disconnected..if it runs better then its your maf but you could be havin a few issue like me...

As for spark plugs id go for these Denso Ik22 as these a perfected for mapped 1.8t they run a grade cooler...Was discussing these last night with benny and Phil W...Dont get cheap plugs...

splugs and Coilpack can cause problems on full boost aslo so can the maf....How much is yours overboost by?

Unplugged MAF, seemed to be fine only doing it very very very slightly and boosting to 24 psi.

Then going up a hill in 3rd, it did it again, so does that mean its not my MAF Cause it still did it when it wasnt plugged in :(

Gonna get some logs done in a bit
