Upgrade from 17" to 18"

Got a very good deal on some 18" from wheelbase which arrived balanced etc.... have had them fitted but should i have anything more done than just getting them aligned? I went to a local place to get them aligned cos at 70mph+ the steering wobbled and they started talking about checking this that and everything.... sounded expensive as all i was expecting as about £30 for wheel alignment... advice please...

Your local, back street guy could be worth a call to check the balancing. Kwik Fit etc will just try and take you to the cleaners!

A 4 wheel alignment check should cost around £30. If they're way out, then any adjustments will cost extra.

Cheers guys, to be fair the guy did say £28, but then said that i should get the camber checked etc etc so i thought he was ripping me off... said i didnt have time to wait!
