upgrade injectors?

Planning to upgrade to a k03s turbo after christmas but was wondering if there is any benifits in also upgrading the injectors or would i only need to do that with a k04 turbo.

Would like to be running 230+ bhp roughly.

Car currently has forge fmic, forge tip, forge 007dv, supersprint turbo back system with sports cat and a revo stage 2 remap.


Open to any other suggestions on how to achive this

Only if they max out the duty cycle which I doubt on a ko3s

ko3 hybrid yes looking around the 280 bhp mark abit more with right mods

You don't have to change rods for hybrid , plenty of people run it on standard rods including myself

rods is piece of mind on these, especially when you want to try pushing for the 270+bhp figures.
Keep boost sensible, and non-spikey and hybrid can be fine on stock rods..

talking 20mm rods here, not 19mm ones.. which make me nervous

You're looking at around £400-450 for some decent rods then £50-100 for decent big end bearings, Calico are my choice. Bill does the whole lot! I would go Integrated Engineering Rods they seem a popular choice and are rated for around 600bhp or thereabouts IIRC. Robbie - that was a peice of art that statement

Thinking of going for a k03s first with a stainless mainafold, possibly heat wrapped, then mapped properly as i'm not sure wot my revo mapping tool is set to presently. Also thinking of fitting a set of high lift cams.


Any suggestions for settings for me to get make preformance with current set up.
