Hi,

Does anyone know of any uprated or adjustable top mounts available for the mk4 Ibiza based car's?

Cheers

Dam the price has come down since i bought mine.

They are only made for the club sport springs, which are straight 2.5'' if i remember correctly. Has been a long time since fitting them so not a 100% on that.

I spent a long time working out the perfect spring rate for my application and just bought some straight springs

Also if you have the metal collar over the threads on the top of the shock (FK and KW) then it will need to be removed, its only screwed on. As a lot of thread is needed.

I am sure they can only be connected with their Clubsport ot V3`s

But that may have changed

Sorry can see how that reads differently know.

Was meant to read like....

They are only made to fit the club sport springs, which is a simple 2.5'' straight spring design. I changed mine to straight springs.

I spent alot of time trying to find something that would help with the camber issues

I had the issue on my Fabia , and spent hours trying to find a solution

the boss was going to do some parts to actually stop the issue , but he never got round to it
So I had some made....

the wishbones with the adjustable part to it on the ball joint

Look ace they do

But to be fair , I dont do as much driving , and not needed now
But I dont envy you guys having the issue

Adjustable lower wishbones would be grate. I did a lot of research in to them. Manly for the reduced weight.
And i take it its Sarah from awesome?

So far i have had them on 3 different set ups.

The first FK, just need straight springs and to remove the collar over the top threads.

The second on KW V2 just did the same as above. remove the metal collar and fit the straight springs.

My current set up is a custom shock from KW with straight springs.

The only thing that limits fitment is that the top spring cup that comes with the kit is only made of a straight spring.

They will raise the ride hight wen fitted.

One way of doing it (if there is enough room) is to strenghen the top of the suspension tower, then cut slots where the 3 bolts are, to allow it to slide.

Although I might make my own when I get better on CAD :)

That did come up as a idea once. The way i would of done it is to cut the top of the tower off rased it and made it flat but still would of wonted pillow ball top mounts so this worked out far easyer
