Using coolant

Hi, in the last 2 weeks my car seems to be using coolant. I've topped it up and within the week (about 350 miles) it's down below the Minimum level.

I've had a look for leaks and checked the top hoses going to the radiator. It can't be a big leak as it's taking a week to drop down. Where would be the best places to look (i've seen the threads about the pip rubbing on the fan, but where is this located?)

Any other known areas for pips to come loose?

PS does anyone near Coatbridge have VAGCOM as my engine management light has just com on too

Hav you checked the oil cap for mayo? My old Punto used to drink coolant and water and turned out to be the head gasket... only an idea as its very rare on these engines!

First thing i checked mate, everything looks fine, it must only be small leak. It doesn't leave anything on the ground if I park it up. I assume one of the coolant pipes runs behind the turbo therefor it could be evaporating with the heat if there was a small leak?
