I'm not up on 1.6s. I'd say you've got a faulty map sensor. Try clearing the code - and see if it comes back.

ive cleared the codes and they have come back. seems to affect throttle now. ive done tbr with vag, twice, if im in first with no accelerator on the revs get higher then die and repeat. I suspect the '01 Engine' error is something to do with with exhaust and a pressure in it, the ABS code is obviously abs, but how could they affect trottle

i cleared the codes in the engine control module and the abs module. they both came back
