I did more googling last night and Drizzle (iirc) on here has also done it.

I think my cable is to old, 11.11.0, I think i need 11.11.3.

I have found the software vi DealExtreme and their clone cables, I wonder if I can just update the software without bricking the cable.

No, you can't. That's why these cables are so cheap, they're limited to one software version.

Im working in Carrington until 5:15 ish if you might be passing through, im on the business park. Got my laptop and cable here too. Alternatively im available in Poynton from 7 onwards.
Will be getting my little lad ready for bed between 6&7.

So yours has digital MPH but no needle sweep, mine is the reverse.

My car is a May 2012.

My cloned cable as previously said is a 11.11.0, what is yours?

As said, I have needle sweep and MPH digital display on my 2012 Supercopa. I have VCDS 10.6.4 and a ripoff cable from vagdiagnostics.

Cheers Right I'll read up on what to do as not used it before. Closest thing I've used before was a scan gauge.

2012 supercopa here and got needle sweep. Also changed the touch indicator from 3 to 4.
When I try to disable cornering fog lights it accepts new code but then reverts back to the original code
