VAG Tacho - what ECU?

Hi. I've got a copy of Vag Tacho and the cable. I need to select what ECU im connecting to and not sure which one i need, any ideas? I have a 2001 Leon TDI (110)

should be a VDO dash with an IMMO3 immobiliser.

I've played with vagtacho on my Leon TDI SE 110 and it didn't work.... so good luck

It definitely won't read the immobiliser PIN on these cars.

cheers dude. I'll try it on something else just to make sure it works then flog it.

We have company cars - mk5 golf's - you recon it would read those or are they classed as 'too new' for vag tacho 2.6?

you are better off buying a hex-usb-can vag com cable and using that. vagcom actually does what it's supposed to do. I'd avoid vag tacho completely.

If you have the SKC/PIN code, you can recode Keys. If you do not, VCDS (VAG-COM) cannot get the SKC for you.
