Think a pair of 1 yrold bimmers will give everything else a run for the money

certainly will on the stop start circuits or the fastest ones.... but they will be heavier & have the H pattern shift to think about too

unannouced, but it'll probably be an E90 BMW

the JAS accord is a nail, and they're not building their own car this year

the accord isn't competitive - so they won't be interested

the good money is on the BMW though

Unlikely to be launched at ASI, more likely at the BTCC press launch in Feb/March

I remember Plato talking about the Toledo, and that as a standard car the chassis wasn't all that brilliant. So making a racing car effectively using the same base road car underneath would still have some of the flaws of the road car.

The Leon has a better basic chassis, and as a result the racing car is that much better to start with, before they start adding bits.

Now if the Vectra is as understeery as the Top Gear video suggests, VX have their work cut-out. :p

It's probably not a wonderfully handling car but Top Gear are probably making it look worse than it is. Slick tyres should help it.

S2000 rules allow tdi's as well

Marvellous.

Team Dynamics + RWD car = another year of Matt Neal moaning about base weights. It's almost (whisper it) better to let him win some races to keep him quiet.
