Hello! I've sent a few messages but got no replies - can anybody in MANCHESTER help me? I've retrofitted RNS315 and the steering wheel controls don't work, I've been told it's a simple case of reactivating them via VAGCOM!

Anyone know if VAGCOM is better than the genral diagnostics that your local garage would use?. i.e even if there is no managemnet light on, could a VACGOM system be better?, if so anyone in Hampshire/ Southampton please?. cheers. got a FR170 TDi.

Vagcom allows for all values from sensors to be viewed, and more, like if a speaker is unplugged, or your foot is on the brake or not etc etc

depending on what the particular garage your talking about uses to read diagnostics, Vagcom will probably be better, but I'm in Scotland so no help to you, sorry
