I think Yes.

And once again:

"If you want to be useful (to others; I don't particularly care since the problem was solved a year ago for me) detail exactly how the data in the two supplied files in the first post by leonlad can be uploaded to the car using OBD11 as an alternative method to using CarScanner Pro. Otherwise go and respond to some other thread on some other topic."

You don't need to upload any files. You can edit the EEProm directly as described in post 14.

"exactly how the data in the two supplied files in the first post by leonlad can be uploaded to the car using OBD11 as an alternative method to using CarScanner Pro"

In that sentence, where did I say you had to upload the files using OBD11? Anyway once again you are not helping other people, just arguing.

By the way, please read my post #4 on this thread: "(283 bytes changed in 0x3000, just 4 changed in 0x3B00)". Good luck typing 283 bytes into OBD11 at 0x3000! ;)

For others, if you want to know how to use your OBD11 to modify the eeprom in module 5f of your multimedia unit, see Mr Fix's video on youtube..

Come down from your high spirits. I only mentioned that you can edit the EEPROM directly with OBD11. I can't help what you're interpreting.
