They look very good mate.

I saw them on eBay too, if it wasn't for the hole I'd have probably stuck a ridiculous bid in...

I feel your pain on the tax, just had my renewal reminder come through today! Can scarcely believe we actually pay to be on these roads! :headhurt:

i know, its daylight robbery! The government are the biggest fraudsters of the lot imo :)

Loving the seats mate! How high is your handbrake, i guess someone was having too much fun when it last snowed ;) Keep up the good work lad, the motor looks cracking.

Tightening up that handbrake cable is a real pig! Done it once and it was really tight, just about at the end of thread. Need to clean my drums ideally, job for the summer :)

Yeah it's weird must be missing one tiny step like i did but not a clue what!

You've done your front 'S' badge on the grill haven't you, was it hard to do?

I got my dad to do it last time :p

Yeah i did the red outline on the grill that came with my old bumper but the new bumper had better condition "S" Badge and is still standard at the moment, will redo it though now you've reminded me!

I got some "acrylic" paint i think it was? and brushed it on and used kitchen roll to wipe it off when it went on to the bit i wanted left chrome! There is a way to take out the badge i think though?

Oh and another thing, these steelies, did you paint them gloss black? Debating doing mine, because they do look rather sexual aha ;) taa

Cheers :) No they are standard, just been covered by Wheel trims for the last 8 years! I only had them on because my tyres was low, whilst i found more alloys haha. I think steelies look better without trims tbh!

I totally agree with you, i had mine off when i did the brakes and they are brake dust black! Got days off soon so may have them off and clean 'em up and see if they gloss black, if not i may have to get some hammerite!

As for the grill, yeah i might do that in blue because i fancy getting the bit around the 'S' in blue but keeping the chrome. ;)

Do you have any pics of yours? In your avatar it looks like the dark metallic blue? I saw a few in that colour and thought it looks nice

I go to the BP garage and pay a quid on the jet wash, you get 3 mins to wash it, i just use the high pressure rinse and get all the crap off and take it home and clean! then rinse it off with a watering can :p
