Hmm thats weird mate, mine completely goes off after it dims although to be fair I suppose LEDs are a lot more powerful so that may be why it doesn't completely goes off

its because leds require less power to light them, they draw the smallest current that even when switched off the power can still dimly light them, only seems to happen in some cases. my old ibiza ones did this. actually annoyed me tbh.

Ah fair play, thats quite sweet but also I can imagine could be an annoyance. Kind of glad I didn't go for the LED bulbs although they do look very nice

I'm not sure about part nos but the Leon mk2 ones apparently fit, i've had a few people tell me and they do look identical to the facelift mk4 ones. You can get a set for around £50-60 on ebay, a lot cheaper. I'm considering this myself but it seems a lot of money to spend on something I may not use

Thanks mate and I know , i really want them now!

I would if i could afford one!, looks like i'm going to have to go to the stealers for an FR/Cupra back bumper :(

Yeah I want some too Jake, just wish they were a bit cheaper as i'm not gunna use them, heck I may not even connect them :p

I wouldn't get one from the stealers mate, would cost a fortune. Keep your eyes on ebay :)

Hi, not really an update but my rear washer has started rotating with the wiper so most of the water shoots off to the side! I have took the wiper arm cap off and put it straight but each time the wiper moves, the jet follows!

Anyone know what's up?

Cheers :)

Loving the car mate, same colour, engine and age as mine, i might consider copying some of your ideas, espesh the front bumper :) wish i had the time/money though :/

One thing i have noticed (might just be my eyes) is that your tyre profile looks far too large for the new wheels (in terms of sidewall size), not a problem looks wise but it will a) slow your car down as your effectively gearing it down a little bit with the larger diameter, and b) make your speedo show the wrong speed. Might just be because the Octavia (a bigger car) has larger tyres than the Beeza needs.

my FR wheels have factory original profile on them, which is 205/45 R16, double check yours on the side of tyre. Every Ibiza running on 16s should have this :)

Other than that, i think you've done some nice work :)

Thanks mate :) , i remember when i had my steelies and being jealous of your FR wheels and looking everywhere for some and giving up! :(

Yeah i know about the tyres, they do need to come down a bit, they rub on bumps and some corners without having anyone in the back! I am going to the local tyre place and seeing if they can do a deal and swap them with some other part worn's (they still have 6MM of tread so i don't see it being a problem if i pay them to fit them?)

They definately effect the speedo / speed though , the little speed things at the side of the road are saying i'm going faster than my speedo is reading! It used to be a few MPH below!
