They are growing on me! I took them out the box and they looked great, took them outside into the light and they looked like lexus lights! I might order a lamin-x sample dave see how that looks

its because your used to seeing it with the red ones. mines got these lights and whenever i see another silver one with red lights i think it looks wierd because im used to seeing mine. give it a few weeks & you'll see them differently dude. i think it looks awesome. and thats exactly how i wanted the arse of my old 1.2 to look

yeah they're already growing on me! and even the smashed reflector!? 
Truly gutted, last night i hit a little square pavement which was in the middle of a carpark which i didn't see. Next thing i know all my airbags have popped out, even though i was doing maybe 15-20MPH tops?!
Had a quick look and Wishbone has snapped, and both driveshafts have too so not sure if shes going to be a right off (won't be claiming due to third party).

Thats really unlucky.
You might be better off getting another one and swaping the parts on it as the airbag stuff might be expensive.

Gutted for you mate!! I have always had a soft spot for your car! I hope you get it fixed mate!
Thanks for the replies, yeah i'm really gutted! I've had much worse crashes and got away with them! Still can't believe that the airbag deployed after such a minor impact. Makes it worse that the front is still intact because it looks fine when i look at it!

Well i have been told that i need:
2 new driveshafts
New Subframe
Gearbox mounting
Passenger side wishbone
Was quoted £150 labour which seems very good, almost too good to be true? and bought the parts for £165 from a breaker. The only thing is they're from a polo but should be the same?

Yes i think i did, remmuk or something similar? I have been quoted by some breakers almost double that!? That price doewsn't include the airbags or the windscreen so i'll need to buy those as well but might leave the bags for a bit until i can afford them! A dashboard goes for about £60 though
