apparently the 'VIC' is what it says on the tin.. a Vehicle Identity Check.. nothing more. they just want to make sure the car is 'safe' , not a cut/shut ringer etc they will check the vin tag against the records at Swansea and acertain that it IS the car it perports (sp) to be.

Cool. As I can't tax mine untill it has done that check which means I can't keep it on the road haha. Silly Idea lol.

yeah .. the VIC is puely an IDENTITY check.. they are not necessarily checking on emissions etc etc.. unless its smoking like a sod... its much too dirty .. or they cannot get into a door/tailgate etc due to lock failure or accicent damage..
if its obvious that sufficient repairs have /are in the process of being done then they should be happy enough with that.

Yeah suppose. But I'm getting extra bits painted lol. It needs front and rear bumper, bonnet, grille and passenger side wing. The extra bits are I'm getting the bumpers smoothed in, the other wing done, bother doors and skirts lol Mad. lol
ive 'done' all the spoilers.. kits type stuff on previous cars.. this one im gonna be pretty much keeping as sandard i think.. at least for the time being.. if anything. just some decent alloys. original ones are a bit naff where the laquers bubbling..
