Its 4 days now...but i guess it depends what other mods have to be done on which ever car.

No other mods really.

Just the new turbo itself, custom manifold, downpipe and oil feeds plus reworked turbo intake etc. :)

Oh and no need to worry Jason mine wont be a match for the propane/NOS breathing mongrel. ;)

Will be damned close though, and a match in the "real world". Just wait until you see the turbo - It's a beauty! Oh, and treat her gently between turbo fitting, and re-jabba'ing. Mine's thrown me in limp mode a few times due to turbo/map issues.

Devonmikeyboy,

Have you tried any 0-100kmh, 100-150kmh etc. times yet?

I'm getting my new ECU with integrated vnt controlling within few next days (my van is just an old piece of sh.. from time before vnt). Of course now I need to change back to vacuum type controlling, so I have lots to do to make it work properly.

Did crank pressure test and everything seems to be OK. It seems that VW may have overcalculated things for 102hp. Fourtunately...

Not yet no. What with a stupid woman driving into my car which took it off road for five weeks, a crank sensor dieing on me for some reason and me averaging 75+ hours a week at work i haven`t got around to it. Hope to get time off work to get my car back from Allard's then i will video some runs soon promise.

Look forward to them Mike... I'm guessing at 4 second 0-60, and approx 12 sec 1/4 mile? I know you're more interested in 20-120, if only for the sake of not pushing the car too hard.

T

Hello, I will like to know if the VT5 can be posed without the
injectors?? thank you

PS: sorry for my language because I'm French...

what engine is that of yours? on the 130/150 you can without the injectors but it depends on how much boost you wanna get,,, there are some good examples here with ~230hp on stock injectors,,,

If you read this thread from the beginning you can get some ideas on what options are out there,,,

btw, where you from in france if you don't mind?

There was a red vabia vrs derv at santa pod on sunday, with the no. plat JA**BBA and that was running a 14.4 which beat my old 14.6 times :( Anyone know of this car?? what spec it was running? Towards the end of the strip the amount of smoke was more than the average amount of smoke mine used to have which could suggest uprated injectors????

Sounds like Luke the son of the bloke that owns Jabbasport who claims his car is producing 247BHP 430lbft, i don`t know if he has had it any other RR then Jabbas to confirm that figure but the torque seems very high for just 247bhp.

I have Ibiza Fr tdi 130 2005...

For more than 230bhp,what is the price of injectors?

I'm from Haute savoie:)

Thanks

"race" injectors are around £800-£1000 for a set of 4 - expensive stuff. I went a different route and got a performance camshaft fitted to give more diesel, and also LPG injection. I should be able to get good power on standard injectors.

Ah ok, the car did look mint though, made me think of my derv :( as i was the fastest derv last year :(

I'm hoping for quickest derv at GTI International this year. Luke's car is amazing though, but he has a decent advantage of being linked to Jabbasport. :D Me? I've just got to plod along, doing what I can. :cartman: I'm hoping to still get as much fuelling as race injectors.

Is anyone successfully running race injectors though anyway?
Talking to Allards there seem to be issues in running them and was steered away from going down that route for a road going application.

Yeah i know what you mean, going the allards route was a very exspensive learning curve for me, as mikes first VT2 turbo died on me 2 days later, then to have to fork out another £800 which i didnt have for a brand new one. Dont get me wrong, i dont regret doing it, i loved that car to bits, as it was bloody quick and echonomical at the same time to. I also had the added advantage of working for sachs so the clutch and suspension for dirt cheap.
