the cheaper option would be to flog the LC/LCR buy an ek9 slap a turbo on it (which will outperform on every level the LCR) and have the extra developement £££ to spend on cheap broads,

:yawn: I know of a few UK built conversions. Hardly claiming to be a one off. In fact, the guy I bought my engine from, previously sold one to a Leon owner. I have heard rumours of an R36, but never heard much more about it. P.s that's also not an R32 engine
